About Me
Hi, I’m Stacy.
I’m someone who loves travel, books, and good food—and I also live with autoimmune constraints that make eating on the road complicated. For a long time, those two things felt incompatible. Travel sounded romantic; food reality was… not.
This blog exists because I got tired of choosing between feeling good in my body and seeing the world.
Over time, I learned how to travel with a pantry box, how to shop local grocery stores instead of relying on restaurants, how to pick hotels that actually work for real-life cooking, and how to feed myself safely even when a kitchen isn’t an option. I learned how to make travel more affordable, more comfortable, and far less stressful—without pretending that dietary limitations don’t exist.
This space is for:
People who travel and need to eat carefully
People who feel left out of food-centric travel culture
People who want practical, honest solutions—not perfection
I don’t do extreme hustle, unrealistic itineraries, or shaming bodies for needing accommodations. I do thoughtful planning, flexible expectations, and systems that make life easier.
If you’ve ever wondered whether travel can work for you, exactly as you are—you’re in the right place.
Allergy Eats helped me find safe restaurants during my trip—such a relief!
